Tracey Lazzopina joined NuQuest in 2004. With a combined 18 years experience in all phases of workers’ compensation including medical management, claims, reinsurance, subrogation and disability trust funds, she brings an unsurpassed depth of knowledge in MSP Compliance to the company, its staff and its operations. Ms. Lazzopina played an integral role in the development of tools to optimize workflow efficiencies resulting in operational effectiveness, customer satisfaction and quality assurance.
President / Chief Legal Officer
Robert Sagrillo is a highly-respected professional in the Medicare Set-Aside arena and was one of the first Medicare Set-Aside advisers in the country. As an attorney and President / Chief Legal Officer, Mr. Sagrillo draws on his expertise in public benefits, trust and estate planning, and tax to advise his clients on the best and most cost-effective way to maximize benefits for claimants while minimizing the overall cost to and liability of insurance companies and employers. Many of the nation’s largest self-insured employers and workers’ compensation insurance carriers turn to Mr. Sagrillo regularly for consultation.
Chief Operating Officer
Lisa Rainey joined NuQuest as a Service Coordinator in 2004, and served as the Service Coordination Manager before being promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Ms. Rainey oversees NuQuest’s operations including service coordination, quality assurance and information technology and provides continued education on MSA- and service-related topics. She has direct contact and works closely with NuQuest’s clients, consulting on clinical issues, MSA allocations and CMS submissions.
SVP of Business Development
Kip Daniels is the Senior Vice President of Business Development for NuQuest/Bridge Pointe – a national provider of Medicare Set-Aside Allocation (MSA) and Professional Administration services. Mr. Daniels brings almost a decade of in-depth experience and stellar performance in the workers’ compensation and liability industry specializing in the development and implementation of Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) Compliance and Medicare, Medicaid, and SCHIP Extension Act (MMSEA) cost-containment programs.
Mr. Daniels holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Aurora University graduating with honors and is certified by the International Commission of Health Care Commission as a Medicare Set-Aside Consultant (MSCC).
VP of Business Development
Barbara Fairchild is a Vice President of Business Development for NuQuest. Ms. Fairchild brings 33 years of in-depth experience and stellar performance in the insurance industry specializing in catastrophic case management, drug and medical utilization review and critical-care nursing.
Ms. Fairchild holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from St. Louis University graduating with honors. Additional professional credentials include Registered Nurse, Certified Life Care Planner, Medicare Set-Aside Consultant Certified, and Florida-licensed life insurance agent.
VP of Field Sales
Carla Roberts is a VP of Field Sales for NuQuest. Ms. Roberts is responsible for client relations and business development in the western region and is based in California.
With nearly 15 years in the insurance industry, Ms. Roberts brings NuQuest clients her vast experience gained from such prestigious companies in the carrier, TPA and MSP provider arenas as Liberty Mutual Insurance and Sedgwick CMS. Ms. Roberts began her career as in the Workers’ Compensation claims arena. As a MSA provider, Ms. Roberts focused on MSP Compliance assisting clients in meeting requirements while ensuring quality reporting and superior customer service.
Ms. Roberts holds a Self-Insurance Designation for Worker’s Compensation Claims as awarded by the Office of Self-Insurance Plans and dual B.A. degrees in Communications and in Sociology from Chapman University in Orange, California. Ms. Roberts attended the University of Redlands earning a Masters in Business Administration.
VP of Field Sales
Kathleen Losada is a Vice President of Field Sales for NuQuest. Ms. Losada brings 30 years of in-depth experience and stellar performance in the workers’ compensation industry specializing in claims and account management for such industry giants as The Hartford, Gates McDonald, Genex, and Lumberman’s Underwriting.
A sought-after speaker, Ms. Losada is nationally recognized as a thought leader and industry expert in Medicare Set-Asides in both workers’ compensation and liability cases. She presents leading-edge, mission-critical information to her diverse audiences in easy-to-understand terms and is often engaged by entities such as Self-Insured Employers, Carriers and Third-Party Administrators.
Director of Compliance
Rasa Fumagalli holds a law degree from IIT’s Chicago Kent College of Law with an undergraduate business degree from the University of Illinois. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois. Prior to joining NuQuest as Director of Compliance, she spent over twenty years specializing in workers’ compensation defense work in the Chicago area. She has worked for private firms as well as in an in-house counsel capacity for several insurance companies.
Rasa utilizes her extensive experience in handling workers’ compensation cases when consulting with clients about Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) compliance issues. Rasa is also an active member of the National Alliance for Medicare Set-Aside Professionals (NAMSAP) organization, serving on the Communications Committee, Evidence Based Medicine Committee and Liability Committee.
