Chief Executive Officer Tracey Lazzopina joined NuQuest in 2004. With a combined 18 years of experience in all phases of workers’ compensation including medical management, claims, reinsurance, subrogation, and disability trust funds, she brings extensive knowledge in MSP Compliance to the company, its team, and its operations. Ms. Lazzopina played an integral role in the development of tools to optimize workflow efficiencies resulting in operational effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and quality assurance.
Chief Operating Officer Lisa Rainey joined NuQuest as a Service Coordinator in 2004 and served as the Service Coordination Manager before being promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Ms. Rainey oversees NuQuest’s operations including service coordination, quality assurance, and information technology and provides continued education on MSA- and service-related topics. She works closely with NuQuest’s customers, providing guidance on clinical issues, MSA allocations, and CMS submissions.
President, National Accounts and Settlement Consulting Robert Sagrillo is a highly respected professional in the Medicare Set-Aside arena and was one of the first Medicare Set-Aside advisors in the country. He is a recognized authority on a wide-range of subjects including estate planning and probate procedures, frequently lecturing before local, regional and national professional and legal organizations and authoring many publications on these issues.
Director of Implementation and Strategy Jennifer Shymanski, NuQuest’s Director of Implementation and Strategy, holds a law degree from Northern Illinois University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Wisconsin. Prior to joining NuQuest in March of 2010, she spent over ten years at Nationwide Insurance working with both workers compensation and personal liability claims teams. Jennifer utilizes her extensive experience in claim handling and negotiation to lead the NuQuest Settlement Consultant Team in working with customers to choose the products and services that can best meet their needs and to support and guide them throughout the settlement process. One of her primary focuses is assisting customers in designing, implementing, and monitoring their Medicare Secondary Payer compliance programs.
Director of Lien Resolution Patrick Czuprynski is NuQuest’s Director of Lien Resolution. In addition to leading the lien resolution team, he represents debtors in conditional payment administrative appeals and negotiations through the Medicare Appeal Council and provides consulting services for settlements and Section 111 inquiries. Mr. Czuprynski presents webinars on Medicare secondary payer compliance on behalf of NuQuest. He has also been published in the Illinois State Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Newsletter, the ISIA Newsletter, The National Alliance of Medicare Set-Aside Professionals publication, Workers’ Compensation Law, and the Maryland State Bar Association publication. An attorney, licensed in Illinois, Mr. Czuprynski is a member of the National Alliance of Medicare Set-Aside Professionals, serving on the Legal Round Table, Policy and Legislation and Liability MSP Advisory committees. Mr. Czuprynski holds a J.D. from Valparaiso University Law School, and a B.B.A from University of Wisconsin Green Bay.
VP of Compliance and Customer Relations Prior to joining NuQuest, Ms. Smith received her undergraduate Political Science Degree from Gannon University and received her Master of Arts and Juris Doctorate degrees from Duquesne University. She thereafter served as a judicial clerk for the Hon. Dante Pellegrini, President Judge of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. Ms. Smith went on to practice as a shareholder at a top Pittsburgh law firm serving as Vice-Chair of the Medicare Compliance Group. She concentrated her practice in the area of Medicare compliance as well as workers’ compensation litigation, medical malpractice, and general insurance defense. Ms. Smith also served as a Medicare compliance attorney and shareholder for a national defense firm and worked as in-house counsel for a leading Pittsburgh health facility. Ms. Smith was selected for inclusion in the Pennsylvania Rising Stars list of outstanding young attorneys in 2008 and has been listed in Best Lawyers since 2011 in the area of workers’ compensation. Ms. Smith is involved in various charitable organizations and serves as a volunteer faculty advisor for a local high school trial advocacy team. Ms. Smith is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. In her role as VP of Compliance and Customer Relations, Ms. Smith utilizes her extensive compliance, litigation, and workers’ compensation experience to provide customers guidance on Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) issues . She has lectured throughout the country on MSP compliance and has written numerous articles on various subjects.
SVP of Field Sales Carla Roberts is the Senior Vice President of Field Sales for NuQuest/Bridge Pointe. Ms. Roberts is responsible for customer relations and business development in the western region and is based in CA. With nearly 20 years in the insurance industry, Ms. Roberts brings NQBP clients’ her extensive professional experience gained from her time with companies such as Liberty Mutual Insurance, Sedgwick CMS, and Gould and Lamb. Ms. Roberts began her career as in the Worker’s Compensation claims arena. A sought-after trainer and educator, Ms. Roberts is an industry leader and respected veteran, who cultivates business relationships and is considered a valuable resource to the customers that she serves. Offering a wide range of customer-centric solutions and recommendations, Ms. Roberts continues to assist NuQuest/Bridge Pointe customers with their MSP Compliance needs. Ms. Roberts holds a Self-Insurance Designation for Worker’s Compensation Claims as awarded by the Office of Self-Insurance Plans and dual B.A. degrees in Communications and in Sociology from Chapman University in Orange, California. Ms. Roberts attended the University of Redlands earning a Master’s in Business Administration.

Barbara Fairchild is a Vice President of Business Development for NuQuest. Ms. Fairchild brings 33 years of experience and proven performance in the insurance industry, specializing in catastrophic case management, drug and medical utilization review, and critical-care nursing.
Ms. Fairchild is also an instructor, and has taught numerous CEU classes, including Medicare Conditional Payments: Current Obligations & Medicare Advantage Plans, Aging Workforce, Medicare Set-Aside Basic, and Medicare Set-Aside: MSP Compliance. Ms. Fairchild holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from St. Louis University graduating with honors. Additional professional credentials include Registered Nurse, Certified Life Care Planner, and Medicare Set-Aside Consultant Certified.
